1. A few thoughts after a good call.

When Bama was bumped from the tourney it came at the hands of Bridges in a three point barrage in the second. I remember Seth Davis tweeting "'Nova" was playing with fire as a warning. Geez. It just doesn't stop with that team no matter who a team shuts down. UM did a good job last night on a few of thier guys.

Brings me to this. Ol' Dickie V. is starting to push for a rule change to push the line back. I think it's of note it was one of the things tried in the NIT this season. And, based on what I've seen recently I'd like to see it moved.

  2. #MeToo

The amount of threes is ridiculous. I love threes, but the onslaught feels like it’s ruining the game.
  3. Blame Steph Curry. Now almost every team has at least one shooter who is deadly even behind the NBA arc.

  4. It really started with Reggie Miller, but took a while to catch on I guess.

  5. You have coaches that know if they shoot 33% from beyond the arc it equals more points than 40 or even 50% from inside
  6. Larry Bird made a couple.
  7. Plus you generally have less hands in your face and traffic around you shooting from behind the arc.
  8. Maybe they need to widen the court by a couple of feet so the 3 point arc can be further out.
  9. What a liberal approach Steve, why am I not surprised;)

Is the 3pt shot the enemy? Or is it that no one plays defense?
  10. The 3 point shot attracts gunners.
