both teams lost 3 of last 6 but for UTx two of the losses were to tourney teams -- KU and OkSt both away. losses to auburn and vandy dont measure up.

you dont know that. they will move a team up or down a seed or two to prevent certain matchups and help travel.

its pretty clear the resume for Cal Tx and WV is better. Cal beat Utah, UW (2x) and AzSt.

BC and OhSt are at best on par with LSU.

this is the lowest seed for an outright SEC champ, EVER.

We lost three of the last four. People pay attention.

Im paying attention. I just dont like the seed and the path we have to take. Cool down.

it was "people pay attention" not "people, pay attention"

Agreed. But faith was arguing that 'they closed better'. Just because they lost to better teams doesn't mean they closed any 'better'.

We're right about where I thought we would be. I had us (in another thread) going around 8 even before we lost back-to-back games. The SEC is not that strong this year, we closed badly, and our OOC schedule was mostly crap. People who thought we were playing for a 4 or 5 seed were dreaming all along.

Not if LSU finishes 15-1 and wins the SEC Tournament. That might have even boosted us up to a 3 seed.
