The series should be called Kublai Kahn, Marco Polo's character is far less interesting than the Kahn, and his blind Shaolin Monk. I watched the whole first season this weekend.

The Netflix release model is so interesting... putting out a full season all at once. I'd like to see how this new trend will affect viewing habits and production in the future... It used to be that the goal of a tv series was to make it to that fourth or fifth year to have enough episodes for syndication... Now it seems that the syndication model is outdated... Doesn't matter if its Seinfeld, which was on on forever, or Firefly, which had one season, you can see any of it any time.

I read somewhere that their budget was 90 million to make the first season. That's insane for something that comes out all at once with little marketing.

I watched it and liked it, but its not as good as Game of Thrones or the Spartacus series from Starz.

I don't think its as good as Game but I like it more than Spartacus. Spartacus overcompensated with rivers of blood squirting everywhere like on Kill Bill. It's pretty ridiculous.

True, but they did make up for it with equal amounts of boobs, bush, and gratuitous sex.
