When I was selling TRS-80's, I remember telling customers that 16k was all the memory they would ever need. Back then, we used cassette tapes to load the programs. 300 baud modem was cutting edge.

At LSU, I was doing my programming on card stacks.

I wonder what computers will look like in another 35 or 40 years.

A chip smaller than a grain of sand will be implanted in your brain.

Are you asking about my daughter who is traveling abroad or my niece who had heart surgery?

Senior moment on my part. Your niece.

Thanks for asking. Cameron made it home last week. We could not have asked for a better outcome. She will have to continue to be monitored for her entire life, and more frequently than before. The potential is high for other aneurysms, but with consistent monitoring, she should be ok.

Now, let me brag on my world traveling daughter...she is presently traveling through Vietnam. In the past few months, she has been in Thailand, Cambodia, China, South Korea and India. I'm a little jealous!

    Great news on your niece.
Many years ago I was in Vietnam, but obviously under far different circumstances. I have mixed feelings about ever wanting to return.

I wish they'd find something they was so illegal they would shut down Myface altogether.

This Facebook deal totally encapsulates America in the 21st Century.

People are signing up, voluntarily, using a “service” for free, now whining about their personal data they have exposed voluntarily. Now, we are looking for the Congress (is there a more stupid group) to regulate us from ourselves!

The end is near, very near!

A chip that size would still be too big for your brain.

Kyle, glad to hear your niece is doing well.
