Truly, that whole debate was cringeworthy from the get go. Cassidy was so nervous he couldnt speak. the moderator may have been more nervous. They started the thing off with questions designed to make the two of them attack one another and the debate never recovered. We never got to any real issues.
I work at a place with about 2,000 PhDs. All of them know how to study and take tests. But some of them are just not very bright. It's not a matter of IQ, but what you do with it.
Meh, I don't know. There seems to be a subset of professionals (doctors, lawyers, engineers) who you can look at and wonder how they tied their shoes, much less finished school.
