If by "justified", you mean that he's still unproven, I agree - one phenomenal bowl game and one rainy Dawg thumpin' isn't enough. However, the national sports media doles out LOTS AND LOTS of unjustified positive attention, as this board is EXPERT at pointing out. So.... Matt Flynn is THE MAN! Until he proves otherwise - Gawd forbid it.
Just think if Brent Musberger had worked our first game, Flynn would be the 2nd coming of Joe Montana. I'm completely comfortable with MF's work ethic, maturity and leadership skills to manage the game. He is exactly the right QB for this years team and new OC. With our defense we just need to protect the ball and make plays on offense and we will be good. :crystal:
