    What a performance by Flynn.

He appears to be NFL caliber and may find himself starting for someone someday soon.

Mike McCarthy is the worst game day manager in the NFL.

I saw the implosion coming before it even happened on that last drive.

He's lost that team 3 or 4 games this season (Bears, Falcons).

You could tell Matt Flynn was coached by Les Miles in college on that last play :rolleye33:

I hate that Les Miles jokes are getting made after an NFL game. The fact that the player he won a NC with nearly beat the class of the NFL in his first ever start should be a feather in his cap, not another cheap excuse to take shots.

Mike McCarthy is the one who screwed up the clock management, not him. Notice how Flynn holds up four fingers? Could it be that he's reminding the sideline that he can't clock it because it's fourth down? That's my theory. Either way, it's a shame that Les Miles hate extends to Sundays now as well.

Matt got some positive attention from the media. He had a very good first game. Not his fault how it ended.

Lighten up. Like you said...it's a joke.

Flynn should have had a play ready though. He's a starting QB in the NFL, played like a pro, but didn't have it together on the last play. QB always takes the blame on that one. But in the end, the Packers played closer than everyone thought and it was because of Flynn, so I think it's more positive than negative...

I didn't mean you, but twitter is blowing up with Les Miles jokes at the moment, As for the last play, who knows what happened? The OL never got set, the coaching staff didn't know what was what either. Flynn was trying to get everyone set but they were all clueless it seems.

I don't even like Flynn all that much, his LSU career is vastly overrated, but it sucks to see him shoulder all the blame on this one. I guess that's the burden a quarterback must take on though.

Yeah it was bad, and it brought up bad memories from the last 2 years for LSU.

I like Flynn for everything he did at LSU even though he was inconsistent at times. He always seems to have this confused look on his face which prob didn't help his case tonight.
