http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2029510 I know this doesn't apply to LSU sports but I know everyone is interested so I decided to post this here where everyone will see it. :crystal: :geauxtige
This doesn't really affect Clarett at all since he is elgible for this year's draft. But it does affect any other players that would have tried to come out before being 3 years removed from high school in the future.
and that's the way it should be. i think what baseball does should be the norm in every sport: if you decide to go to college, you must stay in for at least 3 years before pursuing professional contracts.
I can't put it into words so
That's not true for baseball at all...Alex Fernandez was a star at Miami his freshman year, knew he'd have to stay two more, so instead transferred to a juco for one year, and then declared himself eligible, thereby getting around the third year... I don't know how often it happens, but it does happen...
