It's because of our French-Canadian heritage.

South Louisiana families have many last names that end in "eaux". Boudreaux, Geatreaux, Domingeaux, etc.

It's become kind of an LSU thing to "Cajunize" anyone or thing to do with LSU. Toefield becomes Teauxfield. Rohan becomes Reauxhan and Go becomes Geaux.

I'm still working on how to Cajunize Peter Dyakowski but I'm sure some enterprising Cajun will figure it out. ;)

    Maybe Peter Dyakeauxski?? ;)

    VC Football

and your website have become very popular down here. I hope people from your area have an opportunity to come visit. I know that I will make it a point to do the same when I am up in the northwest.

Glad to hear that our site is popular.... since this whole Pete thing began the site has been very busy. LSU seems to have a very strong fan base (92,000 strong).

I hope to get some more info on there for you and the other LSU fans so that you can see more about Pete and Vancouver College.

I can't express how glad we are to have Pete. I really think he will be happy down here. We and the SEC have a lot to offer him. Just tell him to not bring his snow skiis or Artic weather gear!

don't get me wrong, Canada can get cold but Vancouver is not known for its snow. In the year 2000 Vancouver had 1 day of snow!

Its called "Lotus Land" we are more known for our beaches, rain:mad: and mountains.

You should all come up and visit one day.

Please excuse my ignorance of Canada. I just assumed you guys were covered in snow all winter because of how north yall are. I've never had the chance to go there but would jump at the opportunity!
