come on bayou. you're being clueless right now. trindon does not return punts because he has the dropsies taking punts as bad as lafell does on the field. we saw that on his one opportunity last year and his one opp this year (tulane i believe) can't criticize the coaches for that.
1. He doesn't have very good hands 2. He apparently is not very good at judging when to fair catch or when to take it. 3. Chad Jones looks really good doing it.
He returned a punt once last year and fumbled it. I think it was the USL game. Word is he doesn't have the best hands, which is why we don't throw it to him, either. I keep thinking he'd be perfect for a WR screen, ala Skyler Green, but we haven't seen that.
Another reason may be his 5-5 and 160 pound frame. A few games returning punts and he might nor be healthy enough to play. STs is a vicious part of the game.
