Why do people do this? Sports are taken way too seriously. I love me some LSU football but this is just insane.
I got two text messages the week before the Florida game with Urban Meyer's number. They were the same, and they were valid. Don't ask how I know they're valid. OK, since you're being persistent: we called the number and got a "voice mailbox is full" message. Doesn't mean anything. But the stories are true.
Point that was made, yesterday, on the local ESPN radio was that the last time LSU students did this to Tebow, we won the game in 2007. As childish as it is, maybe we get the same results.

If you are a potential recruit, I can guarantee you more playing time than any other SEC school. Please leave a message and I will personally attend to your request ASAP

Yeah and we did it to JP Wilson last year and he won the game with a TD in overtime and deservedly taunted us. We did it to Knowshon Moreno last year and he busted a long TD against us and deservedly taunted us. We did it to Urban Meyer this year and they beat us. I don't see why we need to give opposing players motivation with stuff like this. I'm pretty sure everyone we've done it to has scored a TD against us...
