At first, I thought the whole prank call thing was dumb, of course I took part in 2007. Now, who cares? I think it's become a fun little tradition. There are worse things we can do. I mean seriously, I think it's impressive LSU students keep getting these numbers. Besides, what other student body can get in the heads of our opponent days before they even see the field.
Aside from me telling you I've had friends, part of the LSU student body, send me text messages with phone numbers, I don't know what more evidence you need that the student body is trying to do this. And when tens of thousands of people are trying to do something, then a lot of the time it ends up happening. Sure some of the numbers are false (eg this year Tebow's number that was spread was actually an LSU frat guy, he created a website with what he thought were some of the best messages) but then some are true (it's pretty well known that Urban's number got out before the game). Either way, it's happening. I have first-hand experience. You shouldn't need any more evidence than that sentence alone.
