I just think had USC won and was playing OSU for the championship, the media would be going nuts all over USC's jock, and that would have given them the extra impetus to win over some of these top recruits.

For that reason alone, I think they both come to LSU.

By the same token, it will also help LSU if Michigan beats USC, and LSU beats Notre Dame. I am a bit nervous about the Sugar Bowl game not that the Tigers are not capable, they really have to be up for the game; the Damers will surely be ready because they have something to prove.

One question: Is Keiland helping with the recruiting of McKnight? They would make heck of a tandem threat, or triple threat with Charles Scott.

Excellent analysis CCGW for someone who didn't catch the interview.

A few points here:

[1] He didn't mention anything about SC's team, players, coaches, etc - only about movie stars!

[2] When describing his home being only 45 miles from LSU (true = ?), and the opportunity for his family and friends to watch him play, he definitely had the broadest :thumb: on his face. I'm voting him the next great ldskule: to wear P/G.
