The skins under Dan Snyder have long had a history of bringing in overrated, washed up players.

    This is no different.

They were 4-12 with Jason Campbell -- won't be much different with McNabb, because no matter who the QB is, they have no weapons.

Shanahan will bring some stability to that organization, but until Snyder realizes that you cannot buy a playoff team over an off season with high priced free agents, the Skins will continue to be the NFC East doormat.

McNabb rarely had weapons at Philly and still got them to the NFC championship game a bunch of times. We will see how the relationship between McNabb and Shanahan develops and that will determine the success. McNabb has a lot more awareness than Campbell...an instant upgrade.

McNabb really is an elite QB and will win games with his football smarts alone. Had Washington had McNabb last year, for example, they probably would have beaten the Saints.

Shanahan+revamped running game+McNabb.....I think that the Redskins will contend in their division. I like the moving and shaking that's going on up there right now.

One thing for sure is all of those division games are going to be awesome to watch and it will be great for the NFL.

AJ Feely (sp) and Jeff Garcia had the same success when McNabb would go down.

The Redskins have no weapons and no O-Line.

This is almost as bad as Oakland, imo.

    True/False:

Oakland had a better record than the Skins last year.

That would be a true statement. The Skins have nothing in the way of talent and nothing in the way of depth thanks to their owner's constant push to trade all their draft picks away.

Shanahan is a step in the right direction, but I'm just afraid by the time they get it right, McNabb will be close to 50. :hihi:

This is the same team who tried this play.

Even the Raiders never stooped to that level of despair.
