Even if he says he wants to die bleeding heart anti capital punishment kooks will fight his sentence in court for him. Since it's Florida and not California or Colorado he will finally be given a swift humane death by lethal injection. During his time on death row it's quite likely he will "find Jesus" and when the time to die comes he will be at peace with himself convinced that the Lord has forgiven him and that he is about to enter the kingdom of Heaven. This creep should be given drugs that cause intense fear and panic while psychological expert torturers convince him he is about to go to hell for all eternity. Show him realistic 3D movies of devils, demons and monsters tormenting their victims while at the same time physically torturing him to cause the maximum level of pain. Make it last for weeks.
Yep. As a rule I'm against capital punishment but for this POS an old English punishment for traitors is the called for. He should be hung, drawn and quartered. Hung until just befor he dies; revived and his intestines cut out In front of him and burned in front of his face. Then his body quartered and sent to the 4 points of the country. All in public.

I always felt like, if a murder was deemed horrific enough that the death penalty was warranted, the convict should die in the same way his/her victim died.
