The third best team in the SEC West, Alabama, just sent the number one seeded Stanford Cardinals home.
Sweet 16 here we come. It was a hard fought win for the Tide. To tell the truth this team is way ahead of where anyone had them at the beginning of the season.
I think its terrific Bama won and I do pull for other SEC teams in the tourneys and bowl games even if it didn't help my pool tourney. I took quite a hit today.
I believe Bama was missing their best player, Shelton, when LSU beat them. They have been a different team since he returned. Also, 3 teams from one conference still in the tournament ain't bad. Sourdough, you don't have to try and trash the entire conference just to try and make your feeble points about LSU being a bad team this year. It's quite obvious that we sucked. Let it go.
I for one LOVE to see the SEC doing well in the Tournament. I guess I'm a little different than some because I pull for all SEC teams whenever they are not playing LSU and playing out of conference...in all sports. *shrugs* I think its GREAT that Bama beat the left coasters. Throw Stanford in there with USuCk as far as I'm concerned. GO SEC!
