Uniforms covering the knees is a rule, that is flagrantly non enforced, or better, randomly enforced. Since I am aware of it, I check, subconsciously. Kind of like when I tell someone to do something with or on their right, and the do it on the left, I cannot help but say, "Your other right." Genetic, I suppose!
