    We keep recruiting like this and we will have real depth on the bench, not just the starters. I'm stoked!

    btw, simmons killed it. 97 points in 3 games against good competition.

    anyone hear anything about lyle lately?

    Unfortunately Lyle committed to Ohio St this past weekend but 5 star SG Malik Newman has LSU in finial 5 and plans to use one of his official visit coming to Baton Rouge!

    "Newman told ESPN’s Reggie Rankin on Monday that he’s planning to use those trips to travel to UK, Kansas, LSU, N.C. State and Ohio State. So far, the 6-foot-4 prospect has taken only unofficial visits to Ole Miss, Mississippi State and UK (for Big Blue Madness in October)."
    I really wouldnt hold my breath on this but it shows haw far we have come with coach JJ. This year we will have had 3 top 15 players on campus and so far 2 have committed or signed. IF Ben and Antonio are here during his visit and can get in his ear i'd feel more comfortable but i'll say it again don't hold your breath.....
