    “The beginning of the end” of the long
    ordeal, as one person put it, is about to
    unfold at UM.

    "I can tell you what I think is going to happen,"
    Shapiro told Miami television station WFOR from
    federal prison in Atlanta. "Death penalty."

    Before the 2011 season, eight football
    players were suspended for receiving
    benefits from Shapiro. The men’s basketball
    team also suspended players before they
    were cleared and allowed to return.

    Miami already self-imposed two
    consecutive postseason bans for football,
    sitting out bowl games after the 2011 and
    2012 seasons, as well as missing the 2012
    Atlantic Coast Conference championship
    game.

    Won't be close to death penalty..

    Worst case. 2 more years of bowl bans mild scholly reduction and that will be that.
