I actually think he IS the MVP. Remember earlier in the year when Tampa was struggling? McCardell was a hold out, Galloway was hurt and they had no running game. Yet MC single-handedly carried this team. Not bad for a rookie WR, but everyone knows that the QB is the glamour position and BR will more than likely get it.

You don't hear them complaining on their message boards now, they know that he is the only player on the team.

As much as I would love Clayton to win, I think Ben is probably more deserving. I didn't think so until I watched the Jacksonville game a couple of weeks ago. Before that game I didn't buy into the "he just wins" cliche. Watching the way he played mistake free football in a physical football game and drove his team down the field for a winning score was really impressive. Big Ben is R.O.Y. However, if Clayton has a big couple of weeks, he could compete for the Pro Bowl with TO, Horn, Mush, Walker and Holt.

it helps when you have the best offensive line and defenses in the NFL. did anyone watch the jets/steelers game? the jets pass rush was completely neutralized. it was like BR was just sitting back there waiting for his receivers to get open. I like the guy, but from what I saw, danny weurfel could operate behind that line. clayton is doing it with less.

It does help being on a stronger team, but he is still making lots of plays. He is still doing something no rookie has ever done. You can't blame him for being in a good situation.

roethlisberger has looked like a rookie the last 3 or 4 weeks. But they are still winning. he doesnt make huge mistakes and puts up average numbers yet he is obviously a leader.

if he struggles as he has of late and loses while MC prospers, I think Clayton is deserving. of course im a huge bucs and mc fan so im not biased at all.
