Or so it's being reported. Not sure if this link is allowed here or not, delete if needed. http://lsu.247sports.com/Board/59425/Contents/Michigan-reaches-out-to-Miles-33727399 Not sure how valid the report is, but I think he stays any way. .
So, Brady was fired one week ago, and Les' friend, and acting AD, is just getting around to reaching out to him? Ah-hem, (with hand over mouth) bullshit. If there was contact and/or interest, it's happened already. Think we'd be hearing about interviews, contract negotiations, etc, at this point.
Two things. 1. They HAD to reach out, at least make the call and say "Look Les, we can skip the process, the job is yours if you want it" They have to do that, required to do that. 2. Les will kindly decline. He HAS to do that.
I hope Les doesn't go, but I also hope he is not using this to get a pay raise. I personally don't think he is doing that, just hoping it is not occurring. I feel bad that he has to choose between his alma mater and a place his family has settled. I know if I had the chance to work for LSU and make the same money as my current job, I would be at LSU in a heartbeat.
Let me put your mind at ease. Les isn't going anywhere. This is coming from the one guy on this forum that would literally pack my shit and drive 800 miles to help him pack his shit up and get the fuck out of Baton Rouge. We are stuck with him and his 80% (that is mostly padded by feeding on SEC bottom dwellers and low level OOC opponents) but .80 none the less. He is staying.
