All right, occasionally-rumored LSU coaching candidates Mike Leach and his Red Raiders tee it up against Jeff Tedford and his Pac-10 patsy...err, I mean, "runner-up" Cal Bears in the 2004 Holiday Bowl (7pm central). I know, I know, it'll seem kinda weird not having Texas there for a change, but watch anyway. Without a doubt, Leach and Tedford are two of the best offensive minds in football, both having a deft touch at grooming good QBs. Marvel at how yet another overrated Pac-10 team (yes, I know, I'm being redundant here) gets rolled in a bowl game. Watch and enjoy. I know I will.
....anything....just hurry and get this Navy/New Mexico matchup in the NobodyGivesAGood$hit Bowl OVER!!! That is the most boring game I've watched in quite some time!
I just turned it on--caught the last 2 minutes. I wasn't inclined to watch this game, but I will say that I'm happy for Navy. It's good to see one of our service academies get a bowl victory--give this guys something well-deserved and fun for a group of guys that will no doubt be defending our country in battles overseas in the upcoming months. I thought it very interesting to hear them say that the Navy QB, Polanco, will be a Navy pilot and should be over in the middle east in just a few months.
Leach @ Texas Tech: 1st in the nation in passing ....111th in the nation in rushing?!?!?! Thanks but NO THANKS!!!!
I didn't post what I did to entice an appology. Hope you didn't feel pressured. ...you were right though, from an entertainment standpoint, that game wasn't interesting. I just wanted the final outcome to be a Navy win.
as opposed to Cal who has the only back in the country (JJ Arrington) to rush for 100 yards in every game this year, not to mention 7 yards per carry.
