Annoucers just dissed the Pac-10 big time with this poor showing by Cal. Also said that Auburn was best team in the nation and that USC doesn't belong in the BCS title game.
(Longshot alert) Is this ass-kicking the first, small piece of a puzzle that opens a sliver of hope for Auburn in the AP poll? Cal, which by far is USC's "best win" so far, is getting strafed. USC's second-best win? Va. Tech, and AU can take care of those guys themselves. My point? If USC loses a close, unimpressive Orange Bowl to OU, then voters looking at a bad USC performance and bad performances by USC"s top two quality wins may look at Aubie in a different light, especially if AU wins by multiple scores (who'd a thunk Texas Tech would beat Cal by 21 before tonight? Show of hands.) I'm always a pimp for the SEC during bowl season! Go Auburn.
Well, it's possible I suppose.... My guess is...that light will not be bright enough to shine through the cataracts that are obscuring not only their vision, but sense of reason as well.
....here's where having no running game kills TTech... Up by 3 TD's...Cal is STILL in the game. They're BOTH going to throw the ball.... The 4th quarter could last a solid month!
Agree. If TT scores that's fine for them. But, they do need to run some time off that clock. They're going to do the same thing no matter what the score is I guess. Exciting, but not too smart.
