You know what pisses me off more than anything??? I bet 20pts on Cal beating Texas Tech, while MARTIN picked every single team on the right hand side of the bowl pick'em page.

Yes, that means martin has won the last 10 bowl games, and is moving close to the lead. And that means he actually got TT correct.

I think to have lack of class you have to intend it to demean your opponent. He could care less about Cal. I think Leach is just a gunslinger...he doesn't care how many points you've got, how much time is left, how many times he's run, what commentators are saying ...that son of a gun wants to score TDs!!

It's just who he is, he lives breathes to pass and score TDs.

Leach known to run the score

Leach is the same coach that ran the score on Nebraska. Leach will run it up to prove a point!

Look at that statline, specifically the 8.7 yds per completion. Tech really does use the short pass--WR screens, quick slants, swing passes, etc.--as their "run", for the most part.

It's...interesting to watch, to say the least.

PS-I don't care how short the passes are, throwing the ball 60 times against a top 5 team and gaining over 500 yds, 3 TD and *zero* INTs is pretty spiffy.

agree, to toss it 60 times with no picks is unreal. no matter how uninterested the opposition or who it is. that's sick against a high school team.

Still, I've watched tech enough to know over the leach years to know better than judge him or any team on one game. its a feel good thing if we were to hire him but it means practically nothing at all. except he likes to throw the ball around a lot.

... which is very dangerous in this neck of the woods we call the SEC.

    That is impressive.

    Cal is ranked...
    57th pass defense ( 212 yds game)
3rd rush defense (83 yds game)
    13th total defense(295 yds game)
4th scoring defense (13.4 pts game)

I'm biased, but I have always thought the Pac-10 is OVERRATED!
