Does anyone have any word on when anything will be done for Mike? Its been awhile now. I heard once they sell all those ugly ass paintings they will have enough money.

Does anyone agree they could have made a waaaaaaaaay better painting?? I mean a tiger laying in a black tree?!? They could have made a poster worth buying and been done with this whole ordeal months ago.

If you are talking about the Rodrique(?), he is going to paint what he wants or not paint it.

I don't mean to be putting the guys artwork down. I am also very grateful we have LSU fans like himself that would give up all those prints of his personal work for free just to benefit Mike. I just didn't think this painting looked good.

Seems like they could have gotten Jack Jaubert to make a painting to donate. His would sell like hotcakes.

I didn't like it from all the pictures on the internet but saw it "in person" in New Orleans and was surprised at how much I DID like it. It definitely does not come across well on the internet though.

Yea, if y'all get a chance go eat at the Blue Dog Cafe off Pinhook in Lafayette. I believe Rodrigue owns it or plays a part in it. He's famous for his Blue Dog paintings and there are tons in there. They do look good in person. The food at Blue Dog is great too.

about Mike the Tiger's cage--at the stadium celebration a two weeks ago I wastalking with someone at the booth where they were taking donations for the "I like Mike" campaign and she said they almost had their initial goal and would get started soon. I dont know what soon means but she said they may get started soon.

I had thought I was the worst artist in the world. I guess I'm not.
