Look I'm going with collective opinions of our fan base. Some call for Clay's head and others say that it's our players not the scheme. I'm no coach, I just know that we don't perform well defensively. Go back and look at his resume, he has been a college coach for like 30 years. But then also look at our stats.

    4-2-5 Defense

I was not aware the Okies ran this. Patterson has run it at TCU since my son got here and I TOTALLY
agree with the personnel part. 2 Years ago TCU had the #1 Defense based on yards per game and was
pretty high based on points given up also, but we had LB's that could run, very active DL and very fast
safeties..........................this year, we had waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too many JC LB's converted to DL and were fast but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy tooo small and while one LB was good, did not have that "sack the QB" speed or mentality. I was really hoping many of the current staff would stay.
What are the words on who is going with Saban?

This Clay dude smacks too much of "Tepper" to me. Just needs the right personnel. Four years to get it going. Does this sound familiar tiger fans?

This is another twisted post started by a torn OSU fan. Look, Mile sis an excellent coach who brought OSU out of the toilet. Okie State fan, you must be insane if you think you'll ever sniff a NC. Miles did the best that can be done at Okie State.

As for the "defensive concerns," I do not believe that anyone should worry about OSU's defensive woes. Why? Well, we have all seen how hard it is to recruit at OSU. SO, Miles focused on getting as many athletes as he can to adapt to his system. As an offensive coach, Miles used the talent he could bring in to make the Cowboys' strength on the offensive side of the ball. This is common sense.

Miles and Co. will be able tor ecruit whatever they want at LSU. As a result, I am sure the defense will continue to be strong.
