No Kteam its not just you....I usually watch the rose bowl every year and i can honestly say i dont give a crap about it this year and havnt even watched a snap yet.
I AM PRETTY SURE HE IS AN OFFENSIVE GUY. GET TO SEE THEM PLAY QUITE A BIT OVER HERE IN TEXAS. HE HAS HAD SOME PRETTY NEAT OFFENSES.
Dear Mr. Eden I hope you are right. What do you think Skip Bertman saw in Coach Miles? Is he an offensive or defensive coach? What position did he coach with the Dallas Cowboys? Is he a good speaker, good recruiter? Why is he preferable to an offensive genius like Petrino? Or for that matter, to a dynamic NFL coordinator like Mike Nolan (Ravens DC)? Who is your OC, who is your DC, do you think Miles will bring them to LSU? :bncry:
AT LEAST HE COACHED IN A MAJOR CONFERENCE LIKE THE BIG 12. PETRINO COACHED IN A MINOR CONFERENCE.:lsug:
Coach Miles is an outstanding recruiter. Think about who we have to compete with here, OU, Texas, and Texas A & M are his obstacles. Ouch. With that said, he gets 1 out of 3 kids on average competing with those schools. He is an offensive coach, was our OC for three years, didn't like politics of our then HC and took a job with the Dallas Cowboys, Tight End Coach I believe. He will not bring his OC with him, that is Mike Gundy, OSU golden boy, next HC at OSU. I doubt he brings Bill Clay, his DC. I think if all this wouldn't have gone down he would have actually fired Bill Clay. We score 34 points a game, but have the 73rd ranked defense in the country. I think it's safe to say with a top 20 defense, we beat OU, Texas, and Texas A & M this year. We still lose to Texas Tech, because they just were not into that game for whatever reason.
CONSIDERING TEXAS HAS LOST 5 STRAIGHT TO OKLAH0MA IMAGINE WHAT COACH MILES COULD DO AT LSU. IF HE IS OFFENSIVE MINDED THAT PROBABLY MEANS WE HAVE A GOOD CHANCE TO SIGN PERRILOUX.:geaux:
