are you crazy? its not like lsu was blown out. things could and should be better, but dont act like the team has no chance when it just lost in OT to a solid team
If Tenn. executes better, they have at least three, maybe four more tds. We DON"T win the game with better execution. Our defense is totally lost. I don't know how many times Bob Davie made the comment about our defense being confused. And the very last thing any of us should have wanted to see was Rick Clausen come in the game. If anybody had something to prove, he did. Anybody who thinks this season is not lost is fooling themselves or wasn't around during the DiNardo-Tepper years. But nonetheless, I will still be wearing my colors and fighting like hell as much as I can to be supportive of the team and I call on all fans to act like mature adults and keep their rants and behavior civil. Remember there are others besides the coaches involved here and I'm sure (at least hopeful) that Miles and the other coaches and administrators realize and understand what's at stake here. As hard as this one was to take, it's time to move on. :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU! :geauxtige LSU!
Do you remember some sportswriters before the season saying that Saban had left Les Miles "the keys to a Ferarri" in reference to the talent on this team? Does that mean that Les is suddenly looking like a guy who forgot to tell us he doesn't know how to drive a stick shift?
can others think of teams going through coaching changes at such a high level (although i guess 9-3 isnt so uncommon)? ones i can come up with and how they did--- tressel-did well but 1st year? coker-won it all guess you can include zook, maybe archer my point is--has this happened enough to have an idea of how much coaching changes effect good teams?
I think Tom Osbourne had a good record his last few years, but I'm too lazy to check. That changeover didn't do particularly well. I think UNC had 9-3ish type records when Mack Brown left, and I haven't heard from them since.
