    Subpar defense/special teams

    2008, 2013, 2014, 2015: LSU 34-16
    All other seasons: LSU 77-16

    Only the 2013 team had a solid offense that helped us to a 10-3 record. So without an offense, those teams with defensive deficiencies were only 24-13.

    No, the same old bunch will say young team with a first year starter at QB, just wait until next year. I think they start on the next year's excuses over the summer.
