    Ouch...

I am glad to hear he handled himself with class after such a painful loss.

I think we will see a team that has a gut check this week. They know that Miles will take all the heat nationally, and the drops make our qb's stats look pathetic. Looks like Doucet will be back, and despite numerous dings and injuries to other players, we should see a more focused team next weekend. We will need it vs Auburn.

I personally like the hookfin excuse, but havn't we thrown him under the bus enough, I mean didn't we blame him for every loss when he was here:wink:

I didn't see the press conference and have been to scared to go to any site besides this one to see what is being written, but CLM is a class act. Never once thought he wasn't. I have faith we will be ready and come out hitting harder this week than we did against Florida. We have to fight are way back to the top now.

Sorry but I have to call BS. He said he was "surprised that Kentucky could move the ball"... what is he so arrogant that he gives no one any credit when he gets beaten? Kentucky beat you, they had the better team tonight. Why can he not accept or acknowledge that? The luck he had against Florida ran out for him tonight.

I think we expected more from our defense than that. Congrats on the win - it was a tough game and you guys really deserved the W.

He did no imply that Kentucky was not good, just that our defense(as everyone in the nation acknowledges) is very good and should have been able to stop them. It came as a surprise to all of us. It has nothing to do with arrogance or luck. The stats over the last 3 years do not support you.

Saban would have thrown the team under the bus.
