LSU is the only team that ditches plays once they are successful. It's like games are practice, keep doing the shit we get wrong until we get it right and once we get it right ditch em.
The engine (Fournette) is good. The problem is the driver (Cam) and the back seat driver (Les). They don't know how to put the transmission in drive without grinding the gears and making the car jerk.
Personally, I don't think we have seen the true Cam, b/c of Miles, so it's hard to judge Cam fully. I would rather Les "change his ways" by turning over all play calling, including in the red zone, to Cam, than go out and hire this Henson dude just to make "a change".
Maybe not his philosophy, but he is still responsible for some of Harris' development, he has done a terrible job.
Why wait until the A&M game to play Guice and Fournette at the same time? Why not throw to the tight ends. It's maddening.
What kills me is how so many see this but they can't, apparently. Seems like Miles could easily fix this offensive problem.
could be Harris, though. i mean, Cam has worked w/Brees, Flacco, etc on pro level, and Mett on college level. less worried about his QB development than our "scratch your head", unimaginative, can't throw basic WR/TE/screen passes, play-calling that we are subjected to year after year. changing that would be a significant change in my mind, and I would be reasonably satisfied to see what that alone produces.
yep got kicked from tiger rant because i made comments about miles they cant stand the truth miles is senile
