Dude, JR is our QB. I know you hate that RP will have to wait his turn, but thats the way it is...

Maybe you and Joan Rivers can give us another update on who's fat and who's not...

    just :) and have fun....

Maybe it is me but I do find a QB 20+ pounds heavier on a already hefty frame....and coming off an injury to be something to be worried about and/or talked about. 20 pounds is a good amount.

I realize Rohan did it at LSU at that weight but not everyone can succeed as much as Rohan did at that weight.

Tried to give you rep points, but couldn't.

Will you old women back away from the fence and get back to the kitchen?

Miles was fired up about the season, the quality of the players, and their work ethic. he likes the upper class leadership. He talked openly about winning the National title, the upside of high national expectations.

He is almost giddy when thinking about the first time his Tigers take the field, except he used the phrase our Tigers.

    Thanks.

"He talked openly about winning the National title..."

Man, could he be any more different than Saban? I mean I love Saban, and he had his thing, but talk about different styles. I just hope they are similar in the W column.

    I'm getting pretty "giddy" myself.

Maybe the weight is not the thing, but how good a condition he is in. I just looked at the Vikings roster, and Culpepper is listed at 6' 4", and 260. Last year I heard the announcers saying he was bigger than that. Playing at 260 doesn't look to hurt Dante too much.

I picked JaMarcus as my breakout player this year, and I'm sticking with him.

I support all of our QB's, but I'd like to see JR fulfill his potential this season.

I understand what you're saying, and I'm not saying there was anything wrong with it being mentioned on here. If Stripes is right and it's only like 13 pounds, then it's really not that bad. I've been a big guy all my life and my weight has always fluctuated like that, and I've never had any problem dropping it when I needed/wanted. I could drop 13 pounds in probably 2 weeks. Now if he's 20+, then it's a little more worrisome, but I still gotta give the kid the benefit of the doubt until he reports to school that big.

I'm not really worried about his weight either, it is his condition. And like all of the other players he will have to run his numerous 110 yard sprints at the beginning of camp. We need the guy to be in shape so that he doesn't pull up lame and like another poster said, it would have been nice to hear that he was in very good shape.

I saw JR in line to get NCAA 2006, he is not overweight by any means.

i thought it was an elbow surgery. and also he will have no problem losing weight at camp in this heat. if he was at 248 then it would be time to worry cause he couldnt afford to lose wieght.
