If someone pushes my wife I will be at it with the offender. I give you that. But I feel as if you think I am wanting him arrested, or banned, or something like that, and I am not against him. I just want him to get out of trouble and stay out of it. When you are at his status...a talented QB at a major university, unfortunately everyone will be in your business. That's why you have to carry yourself carefully. Please aim your aggression at someone else if you are out to "protect" RP...because I am not trying to attack him. I am just concerned about his future if he doesn't learn to just stay away from slippery situations...so he doesn't get caught slippin' again. Ya dig?

I wasn't saying that you were from the streets, or that RP was either. I was talking about a "mentality" that the media (music, tv, video games, movies, etc) floods us with everyday. Heck, you can see rich kids now with a "street mentality".

I think I am being misunderstood here. I am talking about other things that were said and maybe all of that is non factual. So I am going to chill and hope he is not going to lose his future over this.

No, I think I see what you're saying from subsequent posts and that we probably agree overall. No problem my man. It's easy to get misconstrued on here, especially with so many folks overreacting so much.

 

I have read all posts and no one can change my mind that he should be gone. Of course, if Odom is still here I guess my wishes will never come true.

I can see why you may want him gone. A lot of people feel like that. And a guy with less talent would probably have been long gone. But I hope that if he is cleared of this, that he can somehow pull it together. I hate to see this kind of stuff happening to guys like him. He needs a mentor. I just root for people like him to change...I was like him once. Not a super star QB...but a kid with the world by the tail who always seemed to find trouble. I hope he learns from this...he doesn't have too many more chances. If any.
