This surprised me. Nebraska stole not just one from LSU's backyard, but also the Head Coach's son. http://www.cbssports.com/college-fo...tar-fullback-chooses-another-school-over-lsu/ What can you tell me about Ben Miles?
Didn't really steal anything as he said long ago that he wasn't going to play for daddy-o. May have pissed Harbaugh off though. Good luck
I wish his brother Manny would have signed with LSU. Not to play QB but he was a very good pitcher in high school, even throwing a couple of no no's
Very good prospect...Les has encouraged all his children to leave home for college. I was too surprised it wasn't Michigan but haven't followed his recruitment and not sure he was officially offered.
I'm sure Ben knows how cold it gets in Meechigan. Of course it gets cold in Nebraska and there is m nothing to do but shuck corn
Stole? lol He's a 3 star. You know how many 3 star players there are out there? I understand recruitment ratings but since he had no offers from any SEC schools other than LSU, I have a feeling had his dad not been the hd coach at LSU he could possibly be done with football after HS. I've never seen him play though so I could be wrong.
I realize fullbacks are rare with today's spread offenses, but you have to have something going for you other than a name if you're the third ranked at the position in the country.
As a side note, according to 24 7 Sports, no fullback rated higher than 3 stars and Troy Carter signed by LSU was ranked 4th. So yeah, from my point of view it was a steal for Nebraska.
