This is the problem with social media. There is no accountability held for what people post. Seems people can post something like this about somebody with zero proof and not be held responsible for the consequences. I remember a time when this could be considered slander.

If I was Miles, I would see if there was any legal recourse I could take against this irresponsible, buffoon.

That's not a problem with social media, it's a problem with new methods of journalism.

Dude cant backpedal fast enough. "I blame twitter". Thats funny. He could have included the source in his first tweet but didnt because he wanted it to look like he had some inside info. Seems like the only thing he learned about journalism is that being first is more important than being right.

I'd have to see it to believe
It myself. He's CLM. Not Coach Bobby Petrino.

That so called reporter should be a good fit in today's journalism.

A perfect example is the Mante T'eo situation.

The press essentially organized and sensationalized the public humiliation of Mante in order to deflect attention away from the fact that:

The press didn't check a single source of the story in the first place !!! You know, like did the girl even exist?

A little legal action would enforce the lesson.

I thought it was little boys that Saban was touching, but Alabama parents were ok with it because they were already doing this before Saban came along. That's what I heard anyway.

A libel/slander conviction takes proof of intent to harm. Very difficult.
