  1. I am not sure if this is true or not...I have been hearing this rumor for the last five years, which I believe to have legs...I heard it from a very credible source

  2. This is the problem with social media. There is no accountability held for what people post. Seems people can post something like this about somebody with zero proof and not be held responsible for the consequences. I remember a time when this could be considered slander.

    If I was Miles, I would see if there was any legal recourse I could take against this irresponsible, buffoon.

  4. Dude cant backpedal fast enough. "I blame twitter". Thats funny. He could have included the source in his first tweet but didnt because he wanted it to look like he had some inside info. Seems like the only thing he learned about journalism is that being first is more important than being right.

  6. A perfect example is the Mante T'eo situation.

    The press essentially organized and sensationalized the public humiliation of Mante in order to deflect attention away from the fact that:

    The press didn't check a single source of the story in the first place !!! You know, like did the girl even exist?

  8. I thought it was little boys that Saban was touching, but Alabama parents were ok with it because they were already doing this before Saban came along. That's what I heard anyway.

  9. A libel/slander conviction takes proof of intent to harm. Very difficult.
