He wouldn't be all that at QB. He wouldn't be all that bad either. Implemented correctly, he could have been a successful QB at the college level. The talent of Jordan Jefferson was just too plentiful to squander though.

    You don't know that.

You have nothing to stand on other than an assumption fueled by your blatant dislike for Miles and how he operates.

I can't dis-agree. I always believed that Shep was not put at QB because it was obvious in practice JJ, JL, were better. But it's looking more and more like CLM doesn't know how to recruit or develope a QB. So truthfully, who really knows how good Shep may have been. But he probably couldn't have been much worse.

What do you define success as?

Referring to it as "dislike" is entirely inaccurate. Any personal discontentment with Miles arises out of a strong view of objectivity and total disdain for his ineptitude as a coach. I dislike Les Miles as a football coach and why shouldn't I? Has it not been proved that he's wholly inadequate? Keep buying! We're not!

What would you subsequently define as utter failure? Because that's what we've had at quarterback for quite some time now.

It will all improve next year though. Oh, how that sweet phrase rings of such inaccuracy.
