Other than my GUMP friend that understands what is going on, EVERYONE else that calls, shits on me, whatever, in North Carolina thinks LSU is totally screwed up for shitting on Miles. I am a pretty high profile LSU fan, so I get a lot of it. Not even close. He may win the Nobel Prize, they way things are going!
Yep. I've been to Arkansas, Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina this week and keep having the same conversation over and over. Almost no one understands how you can fire a coach with a 77% winning percentage. They think LSU is completely nuts. Les Miles will be coaching somewhere next year if he wants too and the fans of that school will be ecstatic... until they have to watch that shit every Saturday.
The Mark Richt effect. Didn't take Richt long to gain meaningful employment again. But he is also coaching Miami like he knows what got him fired. If Miles continues coaching, I still doubt that.
good they can have a mediocre football team as well. Look this team had 18 starters and is almost always at the top of having players in the NFL. Yet we are always under performing, the only common denominator was les. Sorry I am not losing sleep over getting miles gone. Not to mention to quote Bobby Hebert "what have you done for me lately". We did not have the same miles coaching as we did when "lesticles" was here. He was castrated on national TV in the 2011 NC.
They should be happy such a great coach is there for the taking. We are giving back to the football community sacrificing our own success to share the greatness that is Les Miles. It is simply unfair for one program to have this master of the gridiron all to themselves for so many years. It was simply time to give back.
