Like I said, it was misused. Credible is believable. Creditable is bringing or deserving credit, honor, reputation, or esteem.

In common, normal, usage, these days, creditable, most often is used in the context of retirement or vesting of benefits. Employees need so many years of creditable service or employment to reach a level of benefits. And yes, I have an MBA, and no, it is not from Columbia. hwr
Honestly the "english lessons" around here get old. In this context creditable= deserving credit. Not as stong-credible= capable of being believed. Creditable works, let it go. I still seriously doubt any validity to the story. Only one Job Miles would bolt for unless there is too much heat in BR.
