Well, at least two moderators think you were being defamatory. Brett likes us to give warnings before deleting posts for user agreement violations. This has now been done.

I don't know how this thread evolved into this last post, but it seems in keeping with a sort oof tradition here.
Anyway, I may be wrong but I can't recall any major injuries to any player while LM was here at Okie St., either in practice or games. Of course I don't follow the Cowgirls like I do the Tigers so it is possible that someon suffered a major injury but at this time I cannot recall of anyone doing so. I do know that his teams here were generally fairly aggressive and as a rule pretty good tacklers and blockers.
Personally, I think that it all comes down to basically luck and conditioning on the part of each player. And sometimes it just happens that a team can be hit with a rash of injuries. I remember several of Cholly Mac's teams being decimated by injuries, almost like an epidemic. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen!

I can understand him doing what he is doing now. I am really looking foward to see how he handles August.

Hopefully the full contact will result in more aggressive play by our CB's and more comfort by our QB's.

Saban even kept threatening the qb's with full contact. Which I guess brings up the question, or the qb's getting the full contact part also.

ding ding ding....we have a winner. This is as close to the truth as you can get, any blaming people start doing is unfounded imo.

It makes you wonder how the players will handle two very different personalities. Saban was a hard ass who would yell and curse and all this stuff. He had a very complex pro like defense with Muschamp and he ran less contact practices. You wonder how they will respond. You know that those players knew that Saban was the boss, but, with a new coach trying to make an impression, you wonder if he'll be to loose with them.

I would rather extra time be put in the weight room and on conditioning, that will cut down on injuries. Yes the extra hitting makes me very nervous
