I was shocked to check the internet when I saw the score was 5-0 Rays. I really thought Lester would bring his A game and that the Rays would have to outpitch them. Well Garza did his part if it had come to that. Luckily, it didn't. Rays are a win away in Boston from sealing the deal. I just can't see the Rays losing 2 in a row at home.

I tried to adopt them about 6-7 years ago when they finally put some money in the team and got players like McGriff. The season started well enough but then it all fell apart in the end.
without Ortiz hitting like Ortiz, with the Rays playing like worldbeaters, and with G7 in Fla, a comeback would be nearly as big as the '04 one against the Yankees. still, its possible with the three pitchers the Sox have lined up. dont expect it though.
