    They think about 6 or 7 incoming signees won't qualify academically. Saban signed a bunch of long-shots to get that #1 recruiting ranking.

    If he's enrolled and on scholarship in August, he does. There is talk on the Bama boards about him grayshirting this year (sitting out of school) and not taking a scholarship until he is eligible. If Jones let that happen, then Nick won the negotiations.

    I don't think we should ever release a player to play for another SEC West team....ever. This is a mistake in my opinion. It's got nothing to do with how well the process of him leaving went or anything like that. It just shouldn't happen. Why give another team in your division a decent player. Especially a DB to Saban. I guarantee he would never let a player come to LSU.
