No offense to Terry or anyone else but unless someone has direct contact with Paul Bryant, Jr. they DO NOT know what is going on. Did anyone mention that his plane flew to Austin, Texas early this morning. That is a FACT!!!!! IMHO, bama will not get Saban or Spurrier but it always flatters the egos of the alumni to think that they even considered the job. If anyone wants to take me up, I will bet a steak dinner at Ruth Chris Steak House in Huntsville, AL if Spurrier or Saban is the new HC. I also firmly believe if bama could have announced a big name coach today they would have done so. Doesn't that make sense considering all issues like recruiting, public relations, etc. Even the bama players are being quoted in the Alabama papers with critical comments and bama is taking a beating in the national media. FACT.. PBJ owns a racetrack in Austin... I will post his planes tailnumber if anyone wishes to track him. He also had 4 flights to Arkansas to his hunting club on Saturday. On Fox 6 sports tonight in bham quotes Saban saying he was not interested in the Alabama job and would not take it. Said he thought that Shula got a raw deal.
Not to mention putting yourself up against the most unrealistic expectations in all of organized sports.
