He sent me a PM 'threatening' to have chuck come and post here. wtfever chuck is.... Dude can't admit that he got bad information. :dis:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8760295/ BOULDER, Colo. - His Rolodex is impressive. His reputation is impeccable. Often, when big schools such as Georgia or Florida or Colorado begin the delicate task of finding a new football coach or athletic director, one of their first calls isn’t to a candidate, but to Chuck Neinas. With 45 years of experience at the highest levels of college sports, Neinas is one of the best-connected people in the business. Working from his small office in Boulder, Neinas uses his connections to undertake the job of finding out who might be available and who isn’t, all while keeping the process under the radar.
Chuck is an administrator at AUNation.net and once a regular Auburn poster here, but he hasn't been around for quite a while. Chuck was well-informed and friendly but was kind of thin-skinned and a few of our resident smack jerks like the now-departed ramah were ugly to him and all rivals. I miss chuck. I don't miss ramah.
Yeah I know.....and the Lowder plane that went to Louisville was just taking a group up to tour the Kentucky Derby facilities.
The chuck you refer to still posts on WEN on rare occasions. But I think the chuck in question is Chuck Neinas, formely of Iowa, who is now a one man company who gets big bucks for working with schools and making recommendations on those best suited for a particular job. he can make all tha contacts and the school officials can truthfully say they have contacted anyone.
he's a great hire and is definitely the type candidate to take over a big program and willing to do so. he's the likely hire i would think. word to the wise: dont phuck with chuck! terry's a good dude who deserves a pass at times but his delusions of grandeur exuded in his bama drivel was a symptom that is the current virus of tuscaloser football. I dont wish ill will on their program but its certainly not going to improve til they change that dumbass mindset. til then Tubby is laughing all the way to the bank. when you think about how small and insignificant AU was in that state not very long ago, then you can easily backtrack and see the cataclysmic events that had to happen for the tide to turn, so to speak. they still blame UT for the recent struggles, thats the hilarious part.
:thumb: This is from Saban's mouth not some source in Colorado. Case Closed! Bama should start a little lower like maybe Jim Levitt coach of south florida, oh wait didn't he turn ya'll down a few years ago. Maybe now he realizes what an incredible coaching position it is.:hihi:
