"they close the lead in the SEC West to one game, and Alabama still has to play Kentucky and Mississippi State." ouch thats a tough schedule for bama, didnt know that. nice. good links, appreciate it.
hard to believe but it is realistic that LSU could win the west in bball....that would be awesome if they pulled it out
man this feels like the 2001 football season, i just have a feeling we are going to run the table and win the west
gonna be tough for us though. IF we win out then not only does bama have to lose again, but it has to lose to MSU or of course TWO other games. bama has the tiebreaker on us.
tiebreakers: H2H (tie), division record---a bama loss to us gives them 1. we have 2. ok, so if they lose to us and msu, and we win out, then next tiebreaker is record against division opponents (best first then down the list). ok, we would be first as long as MSU finishes 3rd in division, if Ark passes them then Bama gets it. bottom line--lotta IFs, but I was wrong. we CAN win a tiebreaker with Bama http://www.secsports.com/index.php?well_id=2&url_publish_channel_id=258
The 2nd tiebreaker is division record. Bama has a 2 game lead on us right now. If we beat Bama, they would still be a game up. They would have to lose to either MSU or Auburn for us to have the same division record, assuming we beat Auburn and Ole Miss. After that, the tiebreakers get even more complicated...
damn was thinking the of the conference as a whole. its the whole interconference west vs east crap. UF was the tougher win. that sucks.
