I actually like Mike Vick and he's the most exciting player in the NFL, but you have got to read this - funny as hell!

I personally think Mike Vick is a little overrated too, but I think that's just because I hate him.

    and that is hillarious

Agreed, but those are still some pretty sh!tty stats. (I had no idea they were that bad) If he had those numbers today, he probably wouldn't even be on a roster. His accomplishments are more of a tribute to a) timing b) the intangibles he possessed (personaility, leadership etc.) and c) the team he had around him.

Mike Vick's is 76.4. But the QB rating says nothing about running the ball for 60 some odd yards a game. If it incorporated that figure somehow, his rating would be significantly higher.

Vick is a great runner but as shown in many games, his passing ability sucks.

this thread lost all credibility when some BLEEP with a pencil suggested Brooks was better than Elway. :dis: I do belive Brooks has a few years to go to equal the number of years Elway played. :dis:

nominated for stupidest comparison on a sports forum ever. Arron Brooks and John Elway. :nope:

JS must be still frustrated because his cousin hasn't given him any lately.

He wasn't suggesting that Brooks is a better quarterback than Elway, he was just making an observation that since it seemed like I thought that the QB passer rating is how one would determine how good a qb was, he threw out that comparison to make what i said look ridiculous.

To clear this up again, I don't think that the QB rating is how one should determine the greatness of a player, it should be used in conjunction with leadership abilities of a player, and how well he was able to get his team(s) to perform.
