Well, we have losses on the road to two teams with a combined record of 12-1. The AP will not want to move Cal down and LSU and UGA (to solidify Auburn's claim) up as the BCS comes into focus - they want to nail down USC's trip to the Orange Bowl...
Miami is gonna lose to Nc state....the reason louisville didnt beat em was because they defense got tired....nc states defense is about as talented as u get...if you could maybe forget about the unc game....
Louisville lost because their (louisiana native) starting qb got hurt.. lefors would have closed it out with his feet, if not his arm.
Also, if I'm an Auburn fan I would be a little bit upset about Tennessee getting the shaft week in and week out in the rankings. Auburn is due lots of credit for marching into one of the most hostile stadiums in all of sports and leaving town with a win - the credit is not being given (Tennessee is not being awarded a Top 10 ranking). In addition, these 2 teams may meet in Atlanta and Auburn needs them to be ranked in the Top 10 to help make their case. This is fishy at best...
