Lee to start and Mett thrown in there at some point. But that might be a bit tough to ask for Mett in the first game of the season. My guess is it would be Lee's game from beginning to end.
I agree, I think if Mett and Lee are neck and neck, Give the start to Lee, he has earned it! Standup guy!
Hypothetically, if JJ is not playing. I would be split. Mett still needs time and I wouldn't want bad play to hamper his confidence. I think he is making great progress as of late. Lee looks great in practice but has really struggled more than ever the last 2 scrimmages and Mett out performed him. On the other hand, Lee has the offense down and just needs to execute it. We haven't seen him in extended time minus one of our early in-state games last year which wasn't what we hoped for but that could be the difference. Let him get the feel and maybe it will all click. I would go with Lee and stick with him to see what happens. If we get down by 2 TDs throw in Mett and see what he has. Then go from there.
If Mett is coming on strong and comes on even stronger over the next 2 weeks, I hope he gets it. But honestly, there is nobody id rather have under center than JJ
You're obviously not very familiar with Mr. Issle Tissle. His declaration is practically a guarantee that sometimg won't happen.
