Sounds like Croom is going to be the exact opposite of Houston Nutt. Good for Mississippi State and good for Croom. Let Arkansas, Miami and FSU be thug central Croom doesn't have to put up with a program like that. Now if he can recruit any decent non criminals to go to starkvagas State could be on the rise.
It may take more than just a couple of years to rise from where they are now to a level where they compete for conference champioships consistantly. Aren't they still under NCAA investigation with posible sanctions coming? If so they could delay progress greatly.
They better throw another log to that fire then.... I don't see them challenging anyone for at least 3-4 seasons.
