    I can only hope if RP decides to come here, he plays like VY did in the RB... he was the "Black Jesus" they have been talking about for 2 years.

    Every news paper and sports show across America was saying that Petrino was going to be named the next coach there for a day or two. I think a lot of things are still undecided and news agency don't always wait on the facts before they run their story.

    That's true, but he did say "right now". The difference today is that Miles interviewed those guys officially, and it seems Mike has talked to one or more of them. Like you said though, good to be cautious with speculation until proven otherwise.

    Mike did report last week that the new coach would meet with RP and LD on Monday - and that surely happened.

    Hey, is there some long-term history between Miles and Clay? Please tell me we're not going to have some Mack Brown & Greg Davis kinda situation in Baton Rouge, where Mack will toss everyone else overboard before his buddy Greg, who everyone else can see is the real problem.
