Pretty close to it... but congrats none the less! Or atleast it was pretty easy to get in when I applied (2002.) As long as you followed a TOPS approved curriculum, had a 23+ on act, graduated with at least a 2.5 or in a certain top percentange of your class, you "got in." I'm not saying that THATis easy, because it isn't; but when compared to other universities (out of state,) you could almost call it open admissions. I'm glad to see that it's becoming tougher and tougher to get into some of LA's universities, though. Not only does it make the school more appealing for certain accreditations, it also draws top instructors, grants, students, etc. It also helps to weed out some of the "party animals" who do not belong in college, lol. Again, congrats... I have about a year and a half before I'm off to LSU for my masters. I can't wait.
I hope he does well their, tell him not to party to hard. And thank you for your service. I have a nice postman he is always on time and he doesn’t overload my mailbox w/junk mail.
